10th Edition of Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) Logo Design Competition

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) that will take place on  21 November 2026, Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) is proud to present the “CIFP Logo Design Competition.”

This competition invites Indonesian (aged minimum 18 years old) to showcase their creativity by designing the new logo for CIFP. The logo should reflect CIFP as a premier public diplomacy event in Indonesia. The logo will then be used as the official CIFP logo going forward.

Participant Guidelines

  1. Create your logo and short explanation text on how the logo represents the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP);

  2. Upload your logo and short explanation text to one folder in Google Drive;

  3. Fill out the registration form at bit.ly/logocifp;

  4. Add the link to your logo submission folder to the registration form. Please make sure the link is public and can be accessed by the committee at any time;

  5. Judges’ selection process;

  6. The 1st winner will attend the winners’ ceremony at CIFP 2026.

Submission Guidelines

  • Participants must be Indonesian, aged a minimum of 18 years old, as proven by uploading a photo of a government-issued ID Card (KTP, SIM, Passport);

  • Participants must reside in Indonesia at the time of the competition;

  • Participants must fill in the registration form at bit.ly/logocifp, and attach the link to your logo submission Google Drive folder (please make sure the link is public and can be accessed by the committee at any time);

  • Individual/group participants must submit only one logo;

  • Logo must be an original work and has never been submitted to any competition;

  • Logo must NOT be generated using artificial intelligence technology;

  • Logo must NOT include anti-religious, racial, violent, or pornographic content and elements. No offensive or sensitive content and elements are allowed;

  • Logo must convey a clear visual message, and must be visually appealing both on a small scale (as small as 3 cm x 3 cm) and on a large scale;

  • Logo must be submitted in three variations: horizontal logo, vertical logo, and icon logo (example here);

  • Logo variations must be submitted in three versions: colour, black, and white versions (example here);

  • Logo must be submitted in the following file formats (JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF);

  • Logo submission must include a PDF file that consists of a short text (up to 200 words) in English/Bahasa Indonesia, explaining how the logo design represents the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy;

  • Selected Top 10 logos will be required to provide a high-resolution file format / Ai vector (AI / EPS);

  • Colour gradients, contrast, and other image elements can be adjusted by the organizers.

Selection Criteria

Logo entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

 

  • Authenticity – Does the design reflect uniqueness and creativity? Is the design visually appealing and eye-catching?

  • Relevance – Does the design reflect and contribute to the goal of convening the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP)? Does the design tell an interesting story about public diplomacy that happened at CIFP?

  • Adaptability – Can the design be reproduced in multiple formats and accommodate multiple applications within the CIFP?

  • Aesthetics and Accessibility – Does the design demonstrate balanced visual and colour coordination? Is the design accessible to various groups?

CIFP is an international conference that has been the meeting point of foreign policy communities at home and abroad, which comprise of government officials and civil societies such as such as government institutions, diplomatic corps in Jakarta, think tanks, opinion makers, diaspora, private corporate, business community, journalists, various university lecturers from all over Indonesia, students and all parties involved in the international relations sphere.

What are the judging criteria for the logo?
The logo will be assessed based on Originality (15%), Adaptability (20%), Relevancy (25%), and Aesthetics (40%).

Will I receive a certificate upon completing this program?
Yes, all 1st-, 2nd-, 3rd-, and Top 10 winners will receive a certificate for this program.

What should I put on my PDF file, and what language should it be in?
Your PDF file should include a short text explaining how your logo design represents the Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy. The text should be in English/Bahasa Indonesia and be no more than 200 words.

What is the main theme of the logo design competition?

The main theme of the logo design competition focuses on the journey of public diplomacy at CIFP. Participants are encouraged to explore and expand upon this theme, using their creativity and research to develop unique and meaningful designs. The winning logo will serve as the conference's long-term visual identity and should be designed with longevity, versatility, and timelessness in mind.

What are the accepted file formats for the logo submission?
The committee will accept only the following file formats for logo submissions: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF. Only selected Top 10 logos will be required to provide a high-resolution file format / Ai vector (AI / EPS) (minimum of 300 dpi).

Will the organizer own the intellectual property rights over the winning design?
Yes. By joining this logo design competition, participants agree that the Organizer will own the intellectual property rights over the winning design.

Can I use artificial intelligence software or applications to create the logo?

No. All submitted logos must be original works created by the participant and must not be generated, in whole or in part, using any artificial intelligence (AI) software or technology. By entering this competition, participants confirm that their submission complies with this rule. Any entry found by the judges to have used AI-generated content may be disqualified at the judges' sole discretion.

Where do I submit my logo design?
Firstly, create and upload your logo and a short explainer text to a single folder in Google Drive. Then visit the registration form via bit.ly/logocifp. Fill in your personal details and submit the link to your logo submission folder. Make sure the link is public and accessible for the committee to download at any time (check your sharing settings/permissions). If you have not completed your logo design, you may submit the registration form first and update your Google Drive link later by editing your response using the same email address you used to register.

When is the deadline to submit my logo design?
